While every person’s body is different it is safe to say that not everyone is going to have some perimenopause weight gain. Just by eating healthily as you should have since the beginning of time should help avoid having to change to the perimenopause diet. We know it sounds alarming, but it actually isn’t. The perimenopause diet should be used by everyone in general to maintain a good healthy bodily system.
The Healthy Way, Anyway
The freshest of foods, nuts and grains can be chomped on during the day when feeling peckish, but feeling peckish is not one of those symptoms you will be suffering with as most times you may be feeling bloated and slightly depressive usually making hunger the last thing on your list to do.
Weight Gain Or Pregnancy
?Even though you may be on the injection or the pill, chances are you will still have some weight gain. If you are one of those lucky enough not to gain any weight, there are a lot of envious women out there against you. If you are not on any contraceptives at all and still having intercourse, your weight gain could be due to pregnancy, as this happens quite often, and a perimenopause diet can work just as well for you then as before, just supplement the diet with additional calcium for stronger bones and teeth for you and your baby.
For this specific time in a women’s life, with the perimenopause diet it is more important to start boosting your system up with the calcium and magnesium intake and some other additional vitamin boosters considering osteoporosis could be setting into your bones from here on so still having your daily glass of fresh milk and dairy products does not keep all those future ailments or problems at bay.
Freshest Is Best
There is nothing different from a perimenopause diet to just eating healthily. The freshest is still best, and for those veggies chomp on them raw if you can. And for yourself you can even grow your own fresh herbs and use them in your favorite dishes to give your immune system a boost and to lift your moods. Eating colorfully is one way of mentally picking up your moods.
If for any health reasons you are recommended not to eat specific foods, and then stick to that rule. Just because it may be healthy for everyone else, does not mean it is good for you even though you have been recommended to eat it, don’t!?
