You are also going to want to get rid of all the unhealthy foods from your diet such as sugary, salty and processed foods. These are all bad for you and if you read the list of ingredients on any food label before eating it, if there are ingredients that you are not able to pronounce then you can basically see that it is not going to be healthy for you to eat.

Then of course you are going to also have to learn about the different foods that you are going to want to include in your post menopause diet. Fresh fruits and vegetables you can really not get enough of, so make sure that you base most of your meals around these foods. You should also be eating whole grain or flax bread, and drinking lots of water.
Water is essential no matter who you are and whether you are going through menopause at this point in your life or not. The healthier that you live, the less you are going to have to cope with menopause symptoms.
